Biography

Jennifer M. Dauer is a Managing Director at CincyTech, the regional seed to series A venture capital firm.   CincyTech is focused on transforming undeniably better ideas form anywhere into world-class human health & digital companies.  In addition to enhancing and growing the current portfolio, Jennifer is focused on identifying and cultivating new partnerships and deal flow as well as building the required capability and capacity to deliver the 2030 strategic plan.

Prior to CincyTech, Jennifer was the Senior Vice President, Strategy and Growth at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.   In this capacity, she led the institution’s strategic planning efforts, Business and Strategic Partnership Development, Marketing and Communications, and the Physician Hospital Organization.  In addition to this, she had responsibility for the Cincinnati Children’s Innovation Ventures, facilitating the translation of discoveries into improved clinical care and better outcomes via research partnerships, licensing efforts, and the creation of start-up companies. 

Prior to joining Cincinnati Children’s, Ms. Dauer spent 26 years at Procter & Gamble, where she served as Vice President/General Manager across several business units including Health, Beauty and Grooming New Business Creation, Female Grooming (Venus), and Oral Care (Crest, Scope, Oral B, Whitestrips), with assignments in North America and Europe.    Over her tenure, Ms. Dauer worked to create and implement global business strategies and innovation programs delivering significant organic and new business growth.

Ms. Dauer serves on the boards of Navistone and Abre (portfolio companies) as well as the YWCA of Cincinnati, The Seven Hills School, and Crayons to Computers.   She previously served as the Chair of the CincyTech board, as a member of the Cintrifuse and Regional Economic Development Initiative (REDI) boards, and as a member of Class 36 of Leadership Cincinnati.
